Dr. Douglas Morris is a practicing Chiropractor in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Morris is from La Palma, CA, and received his BS from BYU-Idaho in Exercise and Sport Science. He then continued to earn his chiropractic degree from a great chiropractic college, Southern California University of Health Sciences, in 2015. Dr. Morris specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions associated with the neuromusculoskeletal system (like muscle strain) while improving each patient’s functionality and quality of life. Dr. Morris can help with pain relief from conditions including sciatica, neck pain, headache, migraines, chronic back pain, leg pain, and arthritis pain, among many others.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Morris attained the rank of Eagle Scout and became fluent in Spanish after serving a voluntary mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for two years in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After returning from Argentina, Dr. Morris had severe low back pain. His father recommended he see a chiropractor. Since he was in significant pain, he went with his father to get chiropractic treatment from Salvatore J. Plano Jr., the best chiropractor in Buena Park, CA. After getting his first chiropractic adjustment, he was pain-free. Dr. Morris found his calling in life and decided to go to chiropractic school to become a chiropractor so he could provide chiropractic care and learn the art of spinal manipulation.

While Dr. Morris was learning how to become a chiropractor, he had some of the best mentors in the chiropractic profession. Many of the chiropractors Dr. Morris looked up to were providing chiropractic care in the sports medicine realm. These chiropractic professionals seemed to provide the best chiropractic services and were the reason Dr. Morris furthered his chiropractic education and attained his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP)

Dr. Morris believes that the secret to health care lies within the athlete. He believes this because they are usually being treated for a variety of physical ailments (like shoulder pain or knee pain) and many times have an injury.

Dr. Morris started practicing as a chiropractor in 2015. As a young chiropractor, he decided to learn from other chiropractors first. After working under a few chiropractic doctors, he decided he needed to open his own chiropractic clinic. His brother, Dr. Ron Morris, who is also a chiropractor, moved to Arizona after chiropractic school. Dr. Ron convinced Dr. Doug that Arizona was the place to be, so Dr. Doug moved to Arizona and opened his chiropractic clinic in Scottsdale.

Dr. Morris’ treatment philosophy places the patient at the center of care. This allows for individual treatment plans that couple pain modulation, soft tissue protocols, innovative rehab, and chiropractic adjustments. This cutting-edge approach allows each patient to perform at their top level and attain their goals no matter how large or small. Dr. Morris wants to be the go-to chiropractor in Scottsdale when someone needs chiropractic care or a spinal adjustment.

When Dr. Morris is not working as a chiropractor in Scottsdale he enjoys racing BMX, dirt biking, going boating, and spending time with his two boys and his wonderful wife.
